A mysterious house, a cat keeping watch beside the pumpkins, and ghosts waiting for you to bring them to life with color… I love Halloween coloring pages that tell a little story and make me want to reach for my pencils.
For this collection of Halloween coloring pages for adults, I’ve combined cozy fall scenes with a few spooky details. You get to set the mood: glowing windows, a purple moon, or pumpkins in rich shades of orange.

A Walk to the Haunted House
Four children in Halloween costumes follow a winding path toward a large house while a cat watches from a wooden fence. Pumpkins, a full moon, and autumn trees complete the scene.
The costumes and path have roomy spaces to color, while the house and foliage offer smaller details when you feel like taking your time.
How to Print Your Coloring Page
Download the JPEG and open it on your computer. In your printer settings, select US Letter paper (8.5 × 11 inches) and portrait orientation.
Check the print preview before printing. If any part of the design falls outside the printable area, select “Fit to Page.”
What Colors Work Well for Halloween?
If you’re unsure where to start, try a simple palette of orange, purple, and green, then add yellow to the windows and moon.
Prefer a softer fall look? Try golden yellow, brown, and burgundy for the leaves and pumpkins. You can test your color combinations on a scrap sheet before you begin.
Colored pencils or fine-tip markers are handy for the smaller details. The larger areas give you room to experiment with different shades at your own pace.
